Out with the Old... in with the New... Going to miss my Baby Blue!

June, 2009
As Mike and I continue to move forward and expand our lives together... we made the decision that it was time to get me a bigger car... So, I sold my Honda Prelude today... it was a great car - sporty and fun to drive and I'm going to miss that lil' blue guy!... But on the upside... I have a new Honda Pilot now - fully loaded and I'm super excited and looking forward to driving it now!!!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had lots of fun in the sun... spending all day Sunday and Monday at Oceanside Harbor with the Cascalenda and Kenny families!!  I think we ate in 2 days what we should have ate in 4... but it was great spending time with everyone, hanging out with their adorable kids who say the funniest things, and relaxing.

Celebrating Gabby's Birthday

We went to Bar West to celebrate Gabby's Birthday!  Good drinks... Good company... Good times!

Another Sunny Day in San Diego

Mike I went to OB and had brunch at Nick's.  I got the eggs benedict and Mike got the crab omelet and both were delicious!  We walked around the tide pool and tested the digital zoom on our new camera.  Then enjoyed a yummy acai fruit bowl and soaked in some sun... another beautiful day in San Diego!

Uncle Ric's Birthday

Weekend at the River

We took a trip out to the river with the Kenny's and Cascalendas and shot a few different guns... we had a great time shooting at explosives and making them kaaabooom in the middle of no where!

At the Chargers vs. Colts Playoff Game 2009

Walking through Mission Valley mall on our way to meet with some friends to watch the Chargers vs. Colts playoff game... we get a phone call saying that no more reservations were being placed at Seau's... meanwhile, as we're contemplating on a new game plan... someone randomly asks if if we're on our way to watch the game... we say no and he asks if we want to.  Apparently this guy bought 4 tickets in hopes to go with some friends who bailed out on him... fortunate for us, he was desperate and sold us tickets for $20 each!! SCORE!  We immediately leave the mall to head towards the trolley station and just as the parking attendant tells us there are no more spots, we turn the corner and low-and-behold... there's an empty spot for us! It was a chilly night, and needless to say we were a little less prepared than usual when going to a game - but talk about meant to be with the Charger victory!!!
